Book Reviews

I’ve had a love affair with books since I discovered Laura Ingalls Wilder’s books in the third grade. I tell everyone I know that you can go anywhere and live a great many experiences when you read. I love to read; I love to imagine; and I love to experience the story.

There are books, though, that I’ve read for which I could never do a review–not because they aren’t great stories and didn’t move me–just the opposite! I have read books that left me feeling terrible grief for the main character or otherwise bereft of any good emotion, so that I just can’t talk about it. It takes a fine author to leave his reader feeling like they’ve lost a friend or a character with whom they could strongly identify.

The reading material out there is amazing! Below are links to book reviews of just a few of the books I have read. Hopefully, something in the reviews will pique your interest.
